About the Role
This purpose-built 65-bed care home provides exceptional care for older adults and residents living with dementia. We are looking for a motivated Senior Care Assistant with a genuine passion for person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the care team in providing high-quality, compassionate care.
- Promote independence, dignity, and choice for residents.
- Administer and record medication safely and accurately.
- Mentor and motivate Care Assistants to maintain excellent standards.
- Ensure compliance with CQC Fundamental Standards and care legislation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation.
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting older adults and/or individuals living with dementia.
- Previous Senior Care Assistant or team-leading experience is desirable.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Compassionate, reliable, and adaptable to residents’ needs.
