About the Role
Norwyn Community Services is seeking experienced Senior Care Workers to join our dedicated team. We provide home care services to adults, elderly individuals, and people with mental health, learning disabilities, autism, physical or medical needs. Full training and ongoing support are provided for all team members.
Requirements
- Previous home or domiciliary care experience (essential)
- Female carers only for this role
- Holder of a full UK driver’s license and access to a personal car (UK applicants only)
- Caring attitude with excellent communication and listening skills
- Ability to follow care and support plans and work independently or in a team
- Flexible and reliable
Responsibilities
- Support service users with personal care, meals, medication, and toileting needs
- Assist with transfers using equipment and maintain a safe home environment
- Escort service users to outings and appointments
- Visit service users at scheduled times (starting from 7am)
- Refer concerns to other professionals when necessary
- Provide care to a variety of service user groups
