About the role

We are seeking a Senior Cloud & Server Engineer to play a hands-on technical role in developing and delivering modern, reliable 999 Cloud & Server solutions. You’ll work alongside the Cloud & Server Lead and Architect to ensure seamless service delivery, supporting enterprise-level infrastructure, monitoring system performance, and helping shape Trust-wide capacity and availability plans.

This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with colleagues and vendors to deliver resilient and effective IT solutions.

What we’re looking for

Essential:

  • Degree/HND/HNC (Distinction) in IT or technical discipline
  • Experience supporting design & delivery of enterprise-level Cloud & Server systems
  • Strong knowledge of system monitoring, capacity planning & business continuity

Desirable:

  • Microsoft/vendor-specific qualifications
  • ITIL certification
  • NHS or large-scale ICT sector experience
