The Team – Enterprise MI
You’ll join the Performance & Insight team, a group at the heart of operational decision-making. The team focuses on:
- Improving the accuracy, accessibility, and governance of performance data
- Creating simple, impactful MI aligned to visual standards
- Designing end-to-end views of performance to highlight drivers and bottlenecks
- Innovating through automation, AI, and smarter reporting
This Role in a Nutshell
As a Senior Data Analyst, you’ll work with experienced analysts and an Analytics Manager to design and deliver engaging MI that tells the story of OVO’s performance. You’ll partner closely with operational teams, shaping how data is used to drive decisions and improve customer outcomes.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling with data, influencing stakeholders, and designing MI that is clear, scalable, and impactful.
Key Outcomes & Responsibilities
- Design and deliver performance MI connected across trusted data sources
- Build automated reporting using strong data governance standards
- Select the right platforms for different audiences
- Create reusable views of performance for all organisational levels
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualisations showing trends and insights
- Deliver accurate and automated regulatory reporting
- Partner with Product teams to ensure data readiness for new functionality
- Lead workshops, reviews, and collaborative sessions
- Present insights confidently to senior leadership
- Support and review work from more junior analysts
What We’re Looking For

- Have strong technical expertise, including:
- Advanced SQL (CTEs, window functions, subqueries)
- Understanding of performance optimisation, indexing, and partitioning
- Strong data visualisation and narrative-building skills
Salary & Benefits
- £45,000 – £55,000 salary (depending on experience)
- 15% on-target bonus linked to Plan Zero
- 9% Flex Pay (4% pension + 5% flexible benefits or cash)
