About the Role
FreeWheel, a Comcast company, is seeking a Global Business Intelligence Data Engineer 3 to join our System Administration and Automation Team. In this role, you’ll apply your expertise in data engineering, SQL development, and BI tools to design and implement standards and best practices in our growing Snowflake environment.
You’ll partner with business stakeholders across the organization, transforming complex needs into streamlined solutions, while ensuring data flows are clean, scalable, and effective across FreeWheel’s Ad-Tech products.
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop data engineering applications in Snowflake
- Write advanced SQL and ETL code to support BI systems
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to create functional solutions
- Conduct presentations and provide expert consultation across the organization
- Apply process design/redesign and project management skills
- Ensure high-quality code supported with unit testing
- Drive software development activities to meet timelines
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years of experience in Data Analysis and Data Pipeline Engineering
- Strong knowledge of SQL Development
- Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI
- Knowledge of Snowflake Architecture and implementation best practices (plus)
- Scripting experience in Python or R (plus)
- Familiarity with ETL tools (Fivetran or similar)
- Background in Advertising Technology (plus)
- Agile development experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional, global teams
- Fluency in French is a plus but not required
