The Role
As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll shape 0x’s culture and practices while advancing data quality and strategy.
You’ll maintain and upgrade blockchain data pipelines, build scalable APIs, and collaborate across teams to drive decision-making.
You should thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy solving problems with cutting-edge tech, and be passionate about data-driven innovation in web3.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Data Team, PMs, and Engineers to improve data accessibility.
- Develop and maintain efficient ETL pipelines for real-time and batch processing.
- Build and scale 0x Data APIs for internal and external use.
- Maintain data observability processes and standards.
- Contribute to the Ethereum and web3 community.
- Guide team innovation in data engineering and blockchain.
- Automate processes to enhance data management and analysis.
- Mentor junior team members.
- Stay ahead of industry and regulatory trends.
Requirements
- Passion for decentralization and the 0x mission.
- Align with 0x’s core values.
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- 1+ years of Ethereum or Solana experience.
- Strong experience with ETL pipelines, data modeling, and pub/sub systems (e.g., Kafka).
- Programming experience (Python, TypeScript/Node, Go preferred).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AWS/GCP/Azure.
- Familiarity with Apache Airflow.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, Clickhouse, and data APIs.
- Experience deploying with Docker/Kubernetes.
- Blockchain data cleaning & reporting experience.
