Location: Hybrid – minimum 1 office day per week in Aldgate, London

Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nursing charity supporting families and individuals affected by dementia. Our Admiral Nurses provide expert advice, guidance, and emotional support to help families live as well as possible.

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Database Officer to lead key tasks in our Database Services team. You will work closely with the Database Manager to develop and refine automated processes using Azure Data Factory, Power Automate, and Excel Power Query, ensuring accurate, efficient, and reliable supporter data management.

 Responsibilities

  • Lead database maintenance, data entry, imports, and process improvement.
  • Provide guidance to the Supporter Care team on data management and documentation.
  • Support Database Officers in responding to complex queries.
  • Ensure GDPR compliance and implement best practices across the organisation.

Ideal Candidate

  • Experienced in fundraising databases and data management.
  • High computer literacy, strong Microsoft Office skills, and experience with PowerQuery or M language in Power BI.
  • Knowledge of data protection guidelines (GDPR).
