Overview
The University of Bath is seeking a Senior Developer (SITS) to join the Digital, Data and Technology Group within the Delivery & Operations pillar.
As part of the Applications & Integration team, you will work on the University’s Student Record System – a vital system supporting student recruitment, academic management, and degree awards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, configuration, support, and maintenance of the University’s Tribal SITS software, as well as related applications, services, and integrations.
You will collaborate with data owners across Admissions, Academic Registry, and Finance to ensure optimal system configuration. Experience with cloud migrations, even from different systems, is a plus.
Key Skills and Experience
- Experience supporting and configuring commercial off-the-shelf applications
- Knowledge of enterprise system integration
- Strong technical skills in HTML, JavaScript, SQL, Git, and related tools
- Understanding of cloud platform migrations
Additional Information
- Job title on appointment: Senior Developer (Student Systems)
- Includes a £4,000 market supplement in addition to base salary
- Full-time, permanent role (36.5 hours per week)
