Overview

As a Senior DevOps Engineer within the General Insurance (GI) Platform, you’ll be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintainability of scalable DevOps pipelines and automation frameworks. You’ll influence tooling choices, promote standards, and advocate DevOps principles.

 Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the strategic direction for engineering delivery.
  • Drive an ‘automation first’ culture.
  • Lead design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Harness.
  • Architect and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform.
  • Orchestrate and automate deployments with Kubernetes, Docker, and Harness.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement DevOps tooling and strategies.
  • Improve deployment processes, monitoring, and incident response.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting a learning culture.
  • Manage budgets related to DevOps tooling and cloud infrastructure.
  • Support collaboration and documentation for consistency.

What You’ll Need

  • Proven experience in a senior DevOps or cloud engineering role.
  • Strong knowledge of Terraform across Windows, Linux, OCP, and GCP.
  • Expertise with CI/CD pipelines (Harness, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Solid grasp of DevOps principles, cloud security, and SRE practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and mentoring skills.
  • Awareness of emerging tech such as Generative AI and observability platforms.
  • Understanding of networking across cloud and on-premises.
