About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Assurance Analyst to join the Finance Division. This is a strategic role that combines financial assurance, risk management, analytics, and leadership to strengthen financial governance across the University.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing two Financial Assurance Analysts.
 - Providing reporting on financial controls and compliance.
 - Working with the Finance Division and Assurance Directorate.
 - Supporting the University’s Audit & Scrutiny Committee.
 
About You
- Recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
 - Strong experience in financial assurance, audit, or risk management.
 - Excellent analytical and data visualisation skills.
 - Proven leadership or management experience.
 - Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
 
Experience in higher education or familiarity with Oracle, SAP, or Insight4GRC is desirable.
