Overview
As a Senior Nurse (General) at a Barchester care home, you’ll lead a dedicated nursing team to ensure residents receive exceptional, person-centred care. You’ll make vital clinical decisions, implement safeguarding policies, and administer medications in line with NMC regulations. You’ll also mentor and support your team to maintain the highest standards of nursing, with the autonomy to deliver care that truly makes a difference.
About You
– Registered Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration – Mentoring or supervision qualification – Experience producing care plans and risk assessments – Up-to-date knowledge of current clinical practices – Understanding of DoLS/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines – Strong leadership and problem-solving skills – Experience working with older people and supporting newly qualified nurses
