Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and committed Social Worker to join our team in Secure Inpatient Services at Ridgeway – Roseberry Park Hospital. This post is open to newly qualified social workers, ASYE’s, or those seeking to develop their skills. You will work within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) providing support for patients with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and autism.
The role offers opportunities to work autonomously, contribute to training, and engage in audits, service development, and research. Flexible working can be considered, and sponsorship under the UKVI Skilled Worker route may be available for eligible applicants.
Main Duties
- Manage own social work caseload and work under supervision on complex cases
- Contribute to the education of social work students and staff
- Participate in audits, service development, projects, and research
- Promote professional standards and social work practice
- Work collaboratively within the MDT and support patient care
Essential Qualifications & Requirements
- Professional qualification in Social Work (or pending)
- Registration with Social Work England (or pending)
- Commitment to undertake the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) within one year
- IELTS level 6 for international recruits
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Postgraduate training in relevant specialist areas
- Experience supporting people with mental health issues, learning disabilities, or autism
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
