Duffel is hiring a Backend Software Engineer to join its growing engineering team in London. This hybrid role is based near Shoreditch / Liverpool Street and offers the opportunity to build technology that powers the future of global travel.

Engineering at Duffel
Duffel is developing tools that simplify travel distribution through a powerful and seamless API.
Engineers work on integrating with hundreds of travel providers, each with different systems and requirements, while maintaining a high-quality developer experience.

Strong engineering fundamentals are valued more than experience with specific technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable backend systems and APIs
- Integrate Duffel’s platform with multiple travel providers
- Maintain high standards of code quality and system design
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve developer experience
- Balance technical solutions with business impact
