Job Description

Management of inventory
Ensuring stock is stored safely and correctly, keeping stock levels and records up to date utilising WMS software
Planning and coordinating Planning the delivery and despatch of goods, and coordinating the use of space, equipment and labour Managing staff Recruiting, training, and managing staff, and ensuring they are working safely and following all policies and procedures Maintaining health and safety Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation Communicating Attending and conducting regular internal meetings to ensure all contacts are up to date with business requirements etc. Liaising transport companies, and responding to customer communication as may be required Reporting Producing regular reports and updates, and analysing productivity and quality Maintaining equipment Overseeing the maintenance of vehicles (FLT), machinery, and equipment Meeting objectives Ensuring quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met, and managing budgetsExperience

Previous experience gained within a similar environment is essential
Must possess previous experience of working with WMS
Extensive leadership and people management experience
Exposure to LEAN methodology
Excellent I.T., communication, administration and organisational skills
Resilient, proactive, professional, problem solver
Health, safety and environment management
Project management, analytical and budgetary skills
Positive attitude with a confident and empathetic approach
Proven ability to deliver an exceptional level of customer care and deal with a variety of enquiries
Accurate data entry and excellent attention to detail
Ability to work with tight deadlines
Able to manage processes
Ability to adapt quickly to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectivelyMonday to Friday 8.30 am till 5.00 pm with a 30 minute daily lunch break

As the sites operate Monday to Sunday, a completely flexible approach is required with working hours to support the functions in terms of support
