About the Role

Autism Initiatives is seeking Support Workers to join our Edinburgh Outreach Services. These services deliver dynamic support across the city, including in people’s homes and our community building bases.

We provide specialist services tailored to each individual. While experience is not essential, a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of autistic people and a positive attitude are key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

As a Support Worker, you will:

  • Promote the health and well-being of the people you support.
  • Enable individuals to live meaningful lives and achieve independence.
  • Work collaboratively within our team to provide high-quality support tailored to individual needs.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Registration with the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme.
  • Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) or equivalent.
  • Please note: We cannot sponsor visas at this time.
