Location: Livingston, West Lothian
Salary: £12.94 per hour
Job Type: Permanent, Part-time

 Overview

Mears Group is expanding its Supported Living services in West Lothian following a new contract win. We are seeking compassionate Support Workers to join our team in a brand-new, purpose-built building designed to house 16 service users in individual flats. No previous care experience or qualifications are required — full training will be provided.

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide support to service users in all required areas
  • Prompt with general hygiene and daily routines
  • Encourage healthy eating and positive lifestyle habits
  • Offer assistance with individual care packages
  • Monitor service users and the building environment
  • Work within a 24-hour shift rotation (08:00–20:00 & 20:00–08:00)
  • Participate in restraint training (requires full physical fitness)

Shift Options

  • Full-time or part-time available
  • Flexible shift patterns
  • Zero-hour and contracted-hour roles offered

Requirements

  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • Visa sponsorship is not available
  • Must pass relevant DBS / PVG / security checks
  • Physically fit to participate in practical restraint training
