Overview
Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing (MTVH) is seeking a Supported Housing Assistant to join its Care & Support team. You will provide a high-quality housing management service to supported housing customers across Central and North London.
This role offers excellent training, mentoring, and the chance to gain a wide range of skills to develop a career in housing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out health & safety checks
- Completing void inspections
- Supporting tenancy sign-ups
- Maintaining regular face-to-face contact with residents
The position involves a mix of office-based work, scheme visits, and some home working.
What You’ll Need
- Previous experience working with adults who have support needs
- Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office
- Ability to support customers in sustaining their tenancies, including advice on rent arrears, budgeting, utilities, safety, and access to services
- A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of vulnerable people
