Overview

We are seeking a passionate and inspiring Teacher of Product Design and Catering to join our growing faculty.

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching in Product Design and Catering (KS3 & KS4)
  • Potentially teach KS3 Art if the opportunity arises
  • Contribute to the development and growth of a young, dynamic department
  • Encourage creativity, practical problem-solving, and independent thinking among students
  • Engage positively with parents, carers, and colleagues to support student development

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering lessons aligned with the Eduqas GCSE Product Design curriculum
  • Supporting students’ creativity, independence, and practical skill development
  • Maintaining a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
  • Participating in departmental development and school initiatives

Department Facilities

Our Design Technology and Catering department is well-equipped to support innovative teaching:

  • Practical workshop space
  • Combined CAD/CAM suite
  • Laser cutter, 3D printer, and vinyl cutter

Students gain hands-on experience with modern design and production technologies, helping prepare them for GCSE and life skills.
