Overview

Rapid7 is looking for a Technical Support Team Lead to guide and mentor a team of Technical Support Engineers.

This hybrid role, based in our Belfast office, combines hands-on technical problem-solving with coaching and operational oversight, ensuring that customers across the EMEA region receive world-class support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach a team of Technical Support Engineers
  • Manage real-time support queues and escalations
  • Support professional development and continuous learning within the team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and influence product improvements
  • Build and foster an inclusive, high-performing, and supportive culture

Skills & Experience

We’re looking for someone who can:

  • Communicate clearly across both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Prioritize customer experience in decision-making
  • Lead or mentor technical support professionals
  • Work with performance metrics, queue management, and process improvements
  • Stay calm and lead teams during high-priority issues
  • Bring experience in at least one of these domains:
    • Application security
    • Vulnerability management
    • Detection & response
    • Patching
    • IT operations
  • Work confidently with modern software platforms, APIs, and cloud environments
  • Write clear, helpful documentation and team updates
