Job Description 

We are looking for a Pacific or Mountain Time Zone (PST or MST) team member; please ensure you are in PST or MST time zones before applying – EST and CST time zone applicants will be rejected.

We are The First Pick VA Group, a small premier virtual assistant agency that is quickly expanding and looking for our next virtual assistant team member. ​With dedication to our clients in mind, we are actively building a team of like-minded and skilled VAs to help meet the needs of our fast-growing client base. Invested in the absolute best service possible, all VAs undergo a strict training process and structured trial period before ever meeting a client.

The position starts with a 15 to 30-day training and trial period in which you will work closely with your Team Lead and complete a training course for 3-5h and weekly tasks for 3-5 per week (the 30-day training period is paid at a rate of $12/h). Once the training period has ended, we will connect you directly with clients looking for your particular skill set (this can take anywhere from 30-90 days). The goal is to have you at your max ideal hours within 6-9 months. This is NOT a full-time or W2 position, this is exclusively a 1099/freelance position. In addition to client work, you will have access to a team of other freelancers who work closely and collaboratively within our group.

The ideal applicant would be a hard worker, great with technology, highly efficient, organized, eager to learn, competent, and a great communicator. Ultimately, we are looking for someone who is driven and adaptable to the needs of a growing business.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Executive Assistant experience
  • Minimum two years of remote work experience
  • Experience in customer service, data entry, and project management
  • 3+ year of experience with common platforms (Google Suites, social media, task management, etc)
  • Must be in PST or MST timezone
  • RELIABLE
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Great time management
  • Quick and efficient learner
  • Access to Zoom, email, text, and fast, reliable internet
  • High school diploma required
  • Willing to sign a non-compete disclosure
  • Adaptable
  • Starting availability 3-10h/ week

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business, communications, or a relevant field
