Virtual Assistant – PR Data Research
Location: Fully Remote (Offshore – Philippines)
Type: Contractor (Full-time, 35 hrs/week)
Pay: Up to $5/hour

We run compelling, data-driven campaigns that earn media coverage and build links that matter. We’re seeking a Virtual Assistant (VA) to support our Head of PR with research and data collection that fuels successful PR campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Research and compile lists of journalists, bloggers, influencers, and media outlets
- Gather data from websites, social platforms, and databases
- Scrape information from search engines and third-party tools
- Identify relevant statistics to support PR campaign angles
- Assist with ad-hoc research tasks (e.g., trends, local news, contact info)
- Report directly to the Head of PR to help launch successful media campaigns
Requirements & Skills
Experience:
- Previous VA, research, or data entry experience
- Basic knowledge of data scraping tools or techniques
- Experience with contact information and media list research
- PR, outreach, SEO, or digital marketing background (bonus)
Skills:
- Strong written and spoken English
- Proficiency with Google Sheets/Excel and web-based tools
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines
- Able to distinguish between bloggers, news sites, and e-commerce businesses
Other Requirements:
- Reliable high-speed internet
- 35 hours/week availability (Mon–Fri, 7 hrs/day)
