Virtual Assistant – PR Data Research
Position: Remote (Philippines)
Employment Type: Contractor (Offshore)
Rate: Up to $5/hour
Hours: 35 hours/week (7 hours/day, Mon–Fri)

We’re now hiring a Virtual Assistant (VA) to support our Head of PR with the research and data collection needed to fuel successful PR campaigns. This is a fully remote role with flexible working hours. Just bring your reliability, attention to detail, and passion for digging deep into online data.
Responsibilities
- Research and compile lists of journalists, bloggers, influencers, and media outlets
- Gather data from websites, social platforms, and databases
- Scrape and source information from search engines and third-party tools
- Identify relevant statistics or supporting evidence to back PR angles
- Assist with ad-hoc research tasks (e.g., trends, local news, contact info)
- Report directly to the Head of PR and play a key role in campaign success
Requirements
- Prior experience in a VA, research, or data entry role
- Familiarity with data scraping tools or techniques (basic level is fine)
- Experience researching contact info, media lists, or journalist databases
- Strong written and spoken English
- Proficient in Google Sheets/Excel and web-based tools
- Highly organised with great attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- 35 hours per week availability (exclusive)
Bonus: Background in PR, outreach, SEO, or digital marketing
