Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Warehouse Operative to support the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient and effective management of inventory, order production, and collaborate with processing teams. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Check incoming goods and materials, recording discrepancies and resolving issues with office admin.
- Prepare orders – including complex piece picking/single order picking.
- Complete basic production functions, including assembly and provisioning of connected devices.
- Conduct stock control checks and provide regular updates to the warehouse manager and QC team.
- Maintain warehouse and equipment in an orderly and safe condition.
- Manage courier bookings for UK and Ireland.
- Carry out regular stock inventories and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Organise warehouse space and locations.
- Perform manual tasks such as lifting, packaging, taping, labelling, and sorting.
- Support other duties as required by the Warehouse/Stores Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ proven experience in a warehouse production role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform under pressure in time-sensitive environments.
- Reliable, conscientious, and IT literate (MS Office, scanners, and new systems).
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong teamwork and a self-motivated, can-do attitude.
- Must be based in Sidcup or surrounding areas (full-time on-site role).
