Overview
Are you a Graduate Data Scientist looking to work in a fast-paced, global, market-leading company?
At Innovative Technology, we have an exciting opportunity for a talented graduate to join our R&D team at our global head office in Oldham, Greater Manchester.
This role focuses on maintaining and developing machine learning algorithms for our current and future products, with a particular emphasis on biometric technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and validate Machine Learning algorithms for biometric and facial analysis technologies.
- Optimize and fine-tune existing models, including Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs).
- Investigate and resolve system or algorithmic issues based on testing and feedback.
- Drive innovation through R&D in Data Science and ML techniques.
- Ensure code quality, documentation, and maintainability within shared Git repositories.
- Implement unit testing for code reliability.
- Contribute to improving Data Science processes and best practices.
Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Computational Science.
- Understanding of Data Science and Machine Learning algorithms.
- Proficiency in Python or MATLAB.
- Knowledge of CNNs, feature extraction, and data processing pipelines.
- Familiarity with C++, C, and libraries like Scikit-learn, NumPy, and SciPy.
