About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Software & DevOps Engineer to join our cross-functional Engineering team. You’ll work closely with product managers and designers to build innovative, high-performance software used at scale.

This role combines:

  • 80% software development
  • 20% DevOps and cloud engineering using Google Cloud Platform

You’ll own key areas of the system and help drive continuous improvement across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable, high-performance web applications
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers
  • Contribute to cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines
  • Improve system reliability, performance, and security
  • Support high-traffic production systems

Technology Stack

  • Backend: Elixir (legacy), TypeScript, Bun, Hono
  • Frontend: React
  • Cloud: Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, Cloud Functions)
  • Additional languages: Go, Python

Elixir experience is not required, but willingness to learn is beneficial.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar web development role
  • Experience with modern JavaScript and TypeScript technologies
  • Interest in full-stack development and cloud deployment

Desirable Skills

  • Functional programming experience
  • Database design and indexing
  • Test Driven Development
  • Git, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines
