About the Role
Join the Data, Analytics and Strategy (DAS) team at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) as an Assistant Analyst. This role focuses on digitising, reconciling, and analysing client portfolio data—supporting risk triage, portfolio analytics, and equity fair valuation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support data management processes including input, validation, and reconciliation.
- Produce client summary reports highlighting early warning signals and portfolio trends.
- Assist with financial data input for equity fair valuation.
- Conduct aggregated portfolio analytics to identify sector or regional insights.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers, credit officers, and equity leads on data-driven insights.
- Support new hires and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Econometrics, or Computer Science.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial modelling tools.
- Excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data into clear insights.
- Interest in banking, investment, and capital markets.
- Fluency in English (other languages relevant to EBRD’s countries of operation are an advantage).
