Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. You will provide essential support to patients in care homes and home care settings. Your main focus will be assisting individuals with daily living activities, promoting their comfort, dignity, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support individuals in maintaining routines and following care plans
- Monitor and report changes in patients’ health
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Help with mobility and transport, including driving patients
- Ensure a clean and safe environment
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or healthcare (preferred)
- Strong IT skills for record-keeping
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Ability to follow care plans accurately
- Full UK Driving Licence with access to a car and Class 1 Business Insurance (mandatory)
- Excellent interpersonal and empathetic skills
